NWCA Scholastic Leadership AcademyThe Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association has been presented with a once in a lifetime opportunity by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). The NWCA currently sponsors 2 different national leadership academies for college coaches. One is for small college programs held in Illinois in May called the FCA Leadership Academy. The other is the D1 and D2 program held in August in Orlando with the NWCA National Clinic. (Info on both programs at: http://www.nwcaonline.com/nwcawebsite/coachingdevelopment/collegeacademy.aspx)
Over the past 5 months, there have been talks about what a High School (Scholastic) model of this Leadership Academy would look like. The NWCA has a huge respect for 2 State Coaches Associations.
